Busy for Eid Preparations? Try These Quick Workouts

Posted on 26 Mar 2025 (Wednesday.) 12:00 WIB

Lebaran is just around the corner, and the busyness is increasing. From cleaning the house, shopping for holiday essentials, to cooking for the family. But don’t let all this hustle and bustle make you feel exhausted and low on energy!

To stay fit until the big day, take a little time for a quick workout that can be done at home. It doesn't take long—just 15-20 minutes to keep your body refreshed without interfering with your preparations for Lebaran.

1. Stretching & Flexibility (5 Minutes)

Before starting your busy day, stretching can help make your body more flexible and prevent stiffness.

Shoulder & neck stretches to relieve tension
Waist & back rotations to make your body more limber
Leg & calf stretches to avoid cramps

Hold each stretch for 30 seconds – 1 minute to get your body ready for a busy day.

2. Squats & Lunges (5 Minutes)

Doing a lot of standing and walking while cleaning or cooking? Strengthen your leg muscles with these exercises!

Squats (10-15 reps) to strengthen thighs and glutes
Lunges (10 reps per leg) to improve balance and endurance

Perform each exercise for 30 seconds – 1 minute to get your body ready for a busy day.

3. Plank & Core Workout (5 Minutes)

Keeping your core muscles active can help maintain a strong posture during your activities throughout the day.

Plank (30 seconds – 1 minute) to strengthen your abdominal and back muscles
Russian twists (15 reps per side) to strengthen your obliques
Leg raises (10-12 reps) to increase endurance

This workout can also reduce back pain from sitting or standing for too long.

4. Marching in Place or Jumping Jacks (5 Minutes)

To improve blood circulation and energy, try these light cardio exercises:

✅ Marching in place (2 minutes) to warm up the body
✅ Jumping jacks (15-20 reps) to keep your body active
✅ High knees (20 reps) to boost your heart rate and energy

This can be done anytime, even during breaks from daily activities.

Conclusion: Short Workouts, Big Benefits!

Even while preparing for Lebaran, make sure to take time to move and stay fit. You don’t need long sessions—just 15-20 minutes a day can help your body feel fresher and less fatigued.
